Nashoba Valley Ski Area is 25 miles from Boston and has been open since 1964. That year the season only lasted 14 days because of warm temperatures and the mountain was dependent on Mother Nature for snow. Now the mountain makes snow and operates four chairlifts, two conveyers, and four rope tows.
