There was a very loud noise last night that, as it was waking me up, sounded like air-raid sirens. Clearly it wasn't. I was either on the Pike or in the air. Any clue?
If it woke both my wife and me, it had to have woken many people.

I heard a very loud sound as well in Bethpage, Long Island around 3am, which woke me up. It sounded like a heavy windstorm, but then ended very abruptly. I wonder if this is the same thing?
We heard it in Bruce County, Ontario as well. It occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. and sounded like a squadron of fighter jets. Any ideas?
We heard it here to in Las Vegas, I understand there was an Astriod 3miles long passing the earth at a very close distances. take a look below.

It’s been a while, Angie Marie, but some of my neighbors heard it, too, in Wayland. They suggested that it may have been a bunch of motorcycles.
There’s no time stamp or location on this question.. so I have no idea if this is relevant… But, I too heard a loud noise in Boston last night that awoke me at exactly 2:00 am. It went on for about 5 minutes, and I can’t figure out what it was. Neighbors heard it as well, as it was very loud.
