On 6/28/2011 at 10:00 AM the state is having a hearing on Medical Marijuana. Will anyone from your staff be covering that hearing?

Medical marijuana has passed in a number of states and I am wondering if the state is looking for additional revenues by allowing this bill to pass. I believe this can be helpful for both the state and for those people who need to feel better when they are ill or suffering.

  1. Alcohol has been legal for many years because the government could not control it during the prohibitation years. I believe the government spends too much money on trying to stop the use of marijuana. If it becomes legal for adults to use I believe a lot of money at the federal (and state) level will be reclaimed.

  2. I believe this to be a benificial bill for both the state and the receipients. At this time there is also a bill being introduced into Congress to allow the decriminalization of marijuana possession by adults. Here is the link on that bill. http://networkedblogs.com/jyJfi
