Surcharge Fees Rising: On July 1, 2011, the surcharge for non-payment of parking will increase from $1.00 to $21.00. The surcharge will be added to the parking fee for non-payment, or for not paying within 20 minutes if paying by phone. Please refer to this flyer for more information. I find this outrageous why is the MBTA doing this in this economy?
