  1. The U-turn lane at the Brighton tolls is a rip-off, without adequate signage to indicate only FastLane drivers can use it. An anomalous situation that forces a lost driver to unwittingly pony up $50 for a U-turn. I would like to know how much revenue the state extorts from confused drivers at that U-turn.

  3. I'm curious about a highway related issue - the speed limit on Rte 128. That limit is 55 mph for the most part, yet if you drive at 55 you run the risk of getting run over! Question: Why doesn't the State raise the limit to 65 or 70 (the speed at which the majority or drivers are driving)? Alternatively the State could enforce the 55 limit and possibly generate (in one year) enough revenue to replace all the decaying bridges over 128!!!

  6. i had asked and did get a response to my question as to why the radio staion 1030 doesn't report the 495 north of 93 area. and my reply was that they do and f i could come up w/ any specifics and they would try to answer. well on 6/15 there was an accident on 495 in between the double decker bridge and the rt 110 methuen accident. i started listening to the 1030 stationat 4:32Pm and there were 3 traffic reports and there was no mention of the accident, nor any mention of the stopped traffic on 93 after the reading exit. why can't the report be longer instead of doing the same news reports over and over again. it would be more helpful for commuters to get more details, do more detail traffic reports between 6am-9am and then again at 4pm-7pm, because listening to the same news is so boring and it makes me change the channel.

  7. I, a Worcester resident, have tickets to the Red Sox game on Sat. June 18. I anticipate problems in getting to the game either via public transit or by car. Is there a possibility that the game be delayed a few hours? Seems logical to me. Thanks, R.L. Shea

  2. Who is behind the MASSIVE traffic jam at the ONLY entrance/exit to the South Shore Park in hingham the afternoon of 11/911? If there was an emergency at this exit, it could be a disaster. Is this office park safe. Mass highway/ Hingham really blew this one. Someone sholud lose their job over this major bungle. What usually takes less than 5 minutes took over an hour today.

  6. This is the 3rd station I have contacted. I picked my son up last night at Logan Airport. He got in the car and said "look what I have in my backpack". He pulled out a box cutter. It had been in his backpack on the flight to Tampa on the 17th. and again on the return flight to Logan. That means that he went thru 2 different security check points and NOT ONE TSA employee noticed a box cutter in his carry-on...Obviously he had no idea that it was in his backpack. He uses it daily at work.

  7. Why is it that regular gas prices are coming down somewhat, but high test gas prices are coming down at a miserably slow rate. 30 cents for regular and 04 cents for high test in my neighborhood. Cape Cod.
