For the seventh consecutive year, Millennium: The Takeda Oncology Company and the Patriots Radio Network have teamed up for the Rushing Toward a Cure campaign. For every 100 yards New England rushes this season, Millennium will donate $1,000 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to Benefit patients with cancer and their families. Former Patriot Joe Andruzzi who was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is the voice of the program. Now in remission, Joe is supporting Millennium in the search for cures for patients with cancer. So this year, while you’re cheering on our winning team, remember that they’re not just moving toward the goal line, they’re rushing toward a cure.

New England football fans have yet another reason to cheer for Tom Brady this fall: local energy provider National Grid has pledged to donate $700 to the Joe Andruzzi Foundation’s (JAF) Patient Touchdown Program every time the Patriots star quarterback throws a regular season touchdown pass. National Grid will also match public donations, dollar for dollar up to $75,000, to the Foundation’s “Touchdowns for Tom” campaign.

For every sack made by New England during the 2012 season, Whole Foods Market will donate ten cases of their 365 everyday value line to the Greater Boston Food Bank.
