A North End man is asking for an apology after he was cleared in the sexual assault of a woman in February.

The Suffolk County District Attorney threw out the case after it received evidence that didn’t support the charges against 26-year-old Ross Currier.

Daily Talker: More Mothers Staying Home With Kids

More American mothers are staying at home full-time, according to a new report from the Pew Research Center.

The share of mothers who do not work outside the home rose to 29 percent in 2012. That’s up from a low of 23 percent in 2000, and 26 percent at the height of the recession in 2008.

Daily Talker: Can A Teacher Be Friends With Students On Facebook?

A long-time substitute teacher in New Hampshire is out of a job, because of how she used Facebook.

79-year-old Carol Thebarge has taught at Stevens High School in Claremont for nine years. She’s so popular, everyone calls her “Mrs. T.” and is friends with 250 students on Facebook.

That’s against school policy, and when supervisors told her to unfriend the students, she refused.

A Navy ship rescued Eric and Charlotte Kaufman, along with their daughters Lyra and 3-year-old Cora after Lyra developed a fever and a rash over most of her body, and wasn’t responding to medications.
