Beyond The Forecast
The highs over the weekend were impressive…50 and 52…no that feel of Spring is gone as Winter comes roaring back this week with below normal temps and a couple of chances of snow. Most of this week temps will struggle to get out of the 30s…thanks to the return of the “Polar Vortex” (dah, dah, dah).
Today’s high of 52 in Boston is a dozen degrees above the average for this date and it felt much milder than yesterday thanks to the weaker wind. It is the 4th consecutive day of above average temperatures in this month that has featured 15 below average days.
We won’t be as bright or as mild as we were yesterday afternoon…but you won’t hear any complaints from me! Our high temperatures will still be running above average out ahead of a cold front […]
What a beautiful day with temperatures flirting with and exceeding 50 degrees in many areas. Boston checked in with 50 degrees at 2:58 this afternoon. This was only the 7th day this month that featured above average temperatures which means 15 have been below average!

This should be our last significant snow accumulation for a while.
Another round of snow is moving in now. This won’t be a big event but more of a nuisance for afternoon and evening commuters.
Another snow storm is coming, and while this one isn’t very large, it will pack a quick little punch on Tuesday afternoon, hitting southern New England square in the face.
