In the fourth and final Hour of an Agenda Free Friday, Felger and Mazz take calls on anything and everything they discussed this week. Mike and Tony checked in on WFAN’s Mike Francesa to see what his thoughts on “The Dress” are. To wrap up the week, we hear from Mad Mike and Squeaky Mazz in the Final Word with Jim Murray.
Chris Gasper of the Boston Globe joined Felger and Massarotti during Hour 3. The guys opened the hour discussing Rajon Rondo’s argument with Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle. Mike, Tony, and Chris also talked about comments made by Danny Ainge about the conditioning of Boston Celtics forward Jared Sullinger. The guys also got into the Boston Red Sox, their starting rotation, and David Ortiz’s opinions on the new pace of play rules.
In Hour 2, Felger and Mazz continued to preview Tuesday’s NHL trade deadline and what options the Boston Bruins may have. Mike and Tony went on to discuss the latest in the NFL’s investigation into the Patriots use of under-inflated game balls. When will the investigation wrap up? The guys also got into Darrelle Revis and his future in New England.
Felger and Massarotti kicked of an Agenda Free Friday discussing the New England Patriots and Shane Vereen’s future with the Pats. The guys also got into the Boston Bruins and the approaching NHL trade deadline. Would the Bruins consider trading for New Jersey Devils winger Michael Ryder? Should Claude Julien be concerned with his job security? Also, do the Boston Red Sox really need an ace? Finally, what color is “The Dress”?
The Celtics head coach made his regularly scheduled appearance on Zolak & Bertrand Friday afternoon. He discussed the team's ongoing rotation, the newcomers, Jared Sullinger's weight, Rajon Rondo feuding with Rick Carlisle and much more.
Tuukka Rask is questionable to play tonight, and backup Niklas Svedberg hasn't been good this season. Plus we all saw how Malcolm Subban fared in his first NHL game (not good). Zolak & Bertrand discuss the Bruins situation in net.
Some guy from Boston is going to be a star on Survivor this season. Richie Whitt of NBC Dallas called in to talk about the Dez Bryant drama. More trades are occuring in the NHL, still no Bruins action. And later in the hour there was what some are calling the greatest show crossover ever.
Running back and comedian Jonas Gray missed his call into Toucher & Rich on Thursday and even hung up on the WZLX morning show. Gray performs at The Kowloon this weekend. Trades are being made all around the NHL, and the window is closing for Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli to get something done with the deadline on Monday. WBZ-TV's Dan Roche called in for a final spring training report. Rich ranks the Gatorade flavors.
