Massachusetts Sets New Record With 76% Voter Turnout In November Election
BOSTON (CBS) – Massachusetts set a new state record for voter turnout in the November election.
More than 3.6 million ballots were cast, according to Secretary of State Bill Galvin. That's nearly 300,000 more than the previous record set back in the 2016 presidential election.
The 3,657,972 vote total is equal to 76% of all registered voters in the state.
Massachusetts certified its 2020 election results Thursday.
