Large Barn, Surrounding Acre Of Brush Catch Fire In Sandwich
SANDWICH (CBS) -- When firefighters in Sandwich arrived at Windstar Farm on Country Farm Road early Friday morning, a large barn and some nearby brush were already on fire. The call for the fire came in around 1:30 a.m.
"On arrival units found a fully involved barn along with 1.5 acres of surrounding brush on fire," the fire department said in a Facebook post.
Twenty-six firefighters worked for 3.5 hours to douse the flames.
No injuries were reported.
It is unclear what caused the fire.
