Worker Suffers 'Significant' Burns At Trillium Brewery
CANTON (CBS) – A man was seriously injured at the Trillium Brewing Company in Canton Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Canton Fire Chief, the 36-year-old contractor was working on tanks at the brewery when he suffered "significant" burns.
"It did involve some of the brewing equipment, which includes vats that hold liquids at high temperatures," Chief Charles Doody said.
It is unclear how the man was burned. He was flown to Brigham and Women's Hospital by medical helicopter.
The brewery features a taproom and remained opened after the incident.
