Police Warn Of 'Motion Picture Use Only' $100 Bills In Circulation

FITCHBURG (CBS) – Police in Fitchburg are asking the public to be on the lookout for fake money.

They shared a photo on Facebook of a $100 bill that says "MOTION PICTURE USE ONLY" on the front and back.

"People have been trying to make purchases with these bills and pass them off as real money at stores," police said in response to a comment. "As soon as you present them as real currency, it then becomes a criminal offense."
