Off-Duty Police Officer Performs CPR Inside Dartmouth Restaurant

DARTMOUTH (CBS) – An off-duty police officer performed CPR on a man who suffered an apparent heart attack inside a Dartmouth restaurant.

Dartmouth Police officer Lisa Dacosta was inside Gumbo's Restaurant when she saw the man in need of assistance.

Dacosta began performing CPR until EMS and other first responders arrived.

The man was taken to an area hospital. Police did not know his current condition.
