Car Fire On I-93 Snarls Traffic During Morning Commute

BRAINTREE (CBS) – A car fire in the middle of Interstate 93 near the Braintree split snarled traffic during the morning commute.

Flames broke out before 7 a.m. on Thursday before Exit 6.

All northbound lanes were temporarily closed due to the fire. The road has since reopened completely.

Cars were detoured to Exit 5 and Route 28 while the car fire was cleared.
