NightSide - Florida Prepares for Irma

BOSTON (CBS) - Hurricane Irma is a Category 5 storm that has tied the record for the second-strongest storm ever recorded in the Atlantic Ocean. Winds have been clocked at 185 miles per hour, and the storm has already started pounding Caribbean islands. Though there are still a few different paths the storm could take, experts are expecting it to hit the east coast of Florida sometime over the weekend. Tonight, Dan checks in with former Lyndon State College meteorology professor and noted climate change skeptic Joe D'Aleo to discuss the two recent hurricanes, and whether what we are seeing is as extreme as the mainstream media would have you believe. Do you think these recent weather events are the result of climate change? Or is the left once again exploiting tragedy to gain political points?
