Driver Charged In Hit & Run Crash That Injured Cyclist In Bedford

BEDFORD (CBS) – A driver has been charged in a hit and run crash involving a cyclist. The 63-year-old man was left seriously injured on Carlisle Road last month.

Police tell WBZ-TV a tip from a viewer led them to a 2014 Honda CR-V and eventually to the driver.

The driver, a Carlisle man, has been summoned to court. Police have not identified the suspect.

Bedford Police Chief Robert Bongiorno says the department's thoughts are with the victim who is recovering in a rehab facility.
