Body Recovered From Taunton River; Police Investigating

FALL RIVER (CBS) – An investigation is underway after a body was found in the Taunton River Monday morning.

Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn said in a statement that Fall River firefighters recovered the body north of the Braga bridge.

Police aren't releasing any more information until there is a final identification of the body and notification of family.

Fall River police and Massachusetts State Police detectives are working with the district attorney's office on the matter.
