President Trump Tweets That Any Bad Polls For Him Are ‘Fake News’

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is insisting “I call my own shots” and that any negative polling data is “fake news.”

It’s unclear what prompted Trump’s early morning tweets on Monday.

The New York Times released an unflattering portrait of Trump’s nights at the White House, suggesting Trump spends much of his time watching cable news and wasn’t fully briefed before signing an executive order elevating Stephen Bannon to the National Security Council.

Trump tweeted early Monday: “I call my own shots, largely based on an accumulation of data, and everyone knows it. Some FAKE NEWS media, in order to marginalize, lies!”

  1. No, what he’s hearing are the pleas of the long ignored citizens that elected him to do something other than bankrupt the nation…

  2. paranoia, voices, delusions, grandiose illusions……what, exactly, are we waiting for? he is in a position to end it all…..is that what it will take?

  3. He pointed to the same poll as “facts” the few times he was in the lead.

  4. Trump and Bannon are sickos trying to destroy the country, well maybe just Bannon, Trump is just stupid.

“Lenin wanted to destroy the state, and that’s my goal, too,” Bannon said at a book party in Washington, D.C., in November 2013. “I want to bring everything crashing down, and destroy all of today’s establishment.”
