Fall River Home Destroyed In Christmas Eve Fire

FALL RIVER (CBS) -- Six people were displaced after a fire tore through a home on Christmas Eve, causing it to collapse in on itself.

The Fall River Fire Department responded to the home on East Warren Street around 6:30 p.m. Saturday night.

They said that wind fanned the flames but helped blow the fire away from other nearby residences.

Nobody was injured in the blaze.

The Red Cross said they are assisting the displaced family.

The cause of the fire was not yet known.
