Car Struck By Bullet On I-495 In Milford Area

MILFORD (CBS) – A car was hit by a bullet on I-495 during the evening commute Monday.

The driver pulled over in Bellingham after he thought a rock hit his car. State Police told WBZ-TV's Anna Meiler the bullet went through the windshield and then became lodged inside the car.

The driver was not hurt.

Troopers searched the highway and overpasses from Milford to Marlboro using the State Police Air Wing but no gunman was found.

No other incidents have been reported.
