David Pastrnak To Miss Multiple Games After Right Elbow Procedure

BOSTON (CBS) – Bruins forward David Pastrnak underwent a procedure on his elbow Friday and is expected to miss several games.

General Manager Don Sweeney announced the news on Saturday, saying Pastrnak had a successful removal of the olecranon bursa in his right elbow.

Pastrnak had the procedure done Friday at Newton Wellesley Hospital and is likely to miss the team's games Sunday and Tuesday.

From there, the forward will be re-assessed on a day-to-day basis.

Pastrnak is having a breakout season, currently second in the NHL with 19 goals, just two behind Sidney Crosby of the Penguins.
