State Street In Newburyport Reopens After Water Main Break

NEWBURYPORT (CBS) -- A downtown Newburyport street has reopened following a major water main break Sunday night.

The Newburyport Emergency Management Agency reports Monday morning that State Street is now open to traffic.

The mayor's office said the break occurred near the Newburyport Public Library, at the intersection of State and Prospect streets.

Crews worked through the night to repair the break.
