NightSide - Surge Parking

BOSTON (CBS) - Boston officials plan to increase meter parking rates using real-time pricing and performing data to encourage drivers in and out of parking spots, which means parking prices will depend on how many cars are parked in an area during a busy time. Other cities that have used this initiative are Los Angeles, Seattle and Washington D.C. In the 7 years since Los Angeles started using the system, parking revenue has doubled. Will this keep you from parking in Boston? Is this a good idea to create revenue?
