Aleenah and Fayth are siblings who could be placed together in a skilled family or placed in separate homes that would maintain contact between them. They also have a younger sibling who has been adopted. As the oldest, 9-year-old Aleenah is bonded to her sisters and protective of them.

Aleenah is a healthy Caucasian girl who enjoys visits with her sisters and other family members. She has done well in the community and is easily entertained with all types of activities, such as bowling, rollerskating and going to the movies. Aleenah also loves to draw and sing along to the radio. Aleenah sometimes struggles in school with her focus.

Fayth, 7, is a healthy young girl of Caucasian and Caribbean descent. She adores her sisters and hopes to be reunited with them. Fayth is doing well in school with the help of an Individual Education Plan. She is in a regular classroom and receives speech therapy. She also has hearing issues, which impact her speech causing delays, and has been fitted for hearing aids. Faith receives clinical services to address sometimes challenging behaviors.

The girls are in need a single or two-parent family who can manage their significant trauma history and provide a loving, structured home. They need a patient family who can be understanding of their issues and able to support them with outside treatment. They would do best as the only children in the home or with much older high school or college-aged children. The girls are legally freed for adoption and will also need to continue contact with their birth mother and a maternal great grandmother.
