Mount Washington Observatory Shares Icy Winter Weather Photos
NORTH CONWAY, N.H. (CBS) -- Parts of Massachusetts and New Hampshire saw the season's first flakes, but it was nothing compared to what Mount Washington weathered.
After an ice storm gave way to a brief sliver of sun Sunday morning, staff at the Mount Washington Observatory captured the results of the incoming winter.
They shared the photos on Facebook, showing everything in sight slick with ice.
