BOSTON (CBS) -- The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks square off for the first time since their dramatic showdown in Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday night in Gillette Stadium.

You probably don't need much to get amped up for this one, after going a Sunday without Patriots football, but here are some news, notes and fun facts to hold you down until kickoff on Sunday:

- This will be the 18th meeting between the Patriots and Seahawks, with the Pats holding a 9-8 series edge.

- This is Seahawks' first visit to Gillette stadium since 2004. That's the longest current stretch between road games for a team vs New England.

- The Pats are 26-17 overall on Sunday Night Football.

- Under Bill Belchick, the Patriots are 12-4 after a bye week.

- With a win, the Patriots will guarantee a record of .500 or better for the 16th year in a row.

- Tom Brady is 2-1 in his career against the Seahawks, including the playoffs. Brady has three touchdowns and three interceptions in the regular season against Seattle, averaging 313 yards per game.

- The Pats, as a team, have yet to throw an interception through the first eight games of the season.

- Rob Gronkowski has 23 career games with 100 or more yards, ranking third in NFL history among tight ends.

- Brady has connected with Rob Gronkowski on 67 touchdowns. The duo is tied with Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne for sixth all-time.
