Bennett Misses Practice, Among 7 Patriots Listed As Questionable Vs. Bills

BOSTON (CBS) -- Tight end Martellus Bennett did not practice on Friday and is among seven players listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills.

Bennett, who was limited on both Wednesday and Thursday, is coming off a one-catch showing in New England's Week 7 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has been slowed in recent weeks by an ankle injury he suffered in early October.

With the Patriots trading A.J. Derby to the Denver Broncos earlier this week, Bennett and Rob Gronkowski are the only two tight ends on the New England roster.

There is good news on the injury front though, as linebacker Jamie Collins has been officially removed from the Patriots' injury report. He had been limited with a hip injury in recent weeks, and missed New England's Week 6 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Cornerback Jonathan Jones was added to the injury report, limited at the Friday's practice session with a hip injury.

Here's the Patriots full injury report for Week 8, with all players listed as questionable for Sunday's tilt:

TE Martellus Bennett (ankle)
WR Julian Edelman (foot)
DL Woodrow Hamilton (shoulder)
CB Jonathan Jones (hip)
WR Malcolm Mitchell (hamstring)
LB Elandon Roberts (ankle)
DL Vincent Valentine (back)

For the Bills, wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (concussion) and safety Aaron Williams (neck) have both been ruled out for Sunday's game. Running back LeSean McCoy is doubtful with a hamstring injury, as head coach Rex Ryan announced earlier on Friday.

The following Bills were limited at Friday's practice and are listed as questionable for Sunday's game:

DT Corbin Bryan (shoulder)
TE Charles Clay (knee)
DT Marcell Dareus (hamstring)
RB Mike Gillislee (foot)
TE Cordy Glenn (ankle)
LB Jerry Hughes (hand)
LB Lerentee McCray (knee)
G John Miller (shoulder)
WR Robert Woods (foot)
