Subaru Recalls Over 100,000 Cars; Turbo Air Pump Can Start Fire

TOKYO (CBS) – A new recall from Subaru affects four of its best-selling models.

The car company is recalling over 100,000 cars because an air pump in the turbo-charged engines could overheat and catch fire.

Subaru says this has happened twice so far, but there's no word on whether people were hurt.

The recall involves 2007-2009 Legacy and Outback cars, 2008-2014 Impreza cars and 2009-2013 Forester vehicles.

Dealers can fix the problem free of charge.
