Over/Under: How Many Touchdown Passes For Tom Brady This Season?
BOSTON (CBS) -- It was an over/under Tuesday night on The Adam Jones Show's "Game Of Jones," with Rich Keefe hitting Jones with the following topics:
Tuukka Rask's Goals Against Average This Season- 2.30
"He should be under that number, and I'm not basing that on how he's played through two games. He should be below that; he's capable based on talent alone and I don't care what the defense in front of him looks like," said Jones. "Give me the under."
Points Per Game For Isaiah Thomas - 22.2
"I'm going to go under that, but it's not that Isaiah is going to have a worse year or anything like that," said Jones. "Last year may be the best year he has; All-Star, a true Top 20 player. He may not be all that worse off in quality, but his stats are going to go down with the addition of Al Horford; everyone's will, at least in that starting rotation. Isaiah will average 20 points a game, but I don't think he gets back to what he was last year."
Wins By The Buffalo Bills This Season - 9.5
"I'll believe Buffalo when I really see it. They haven't made the payoffs since '99, and to make the playoffs I think they'll have to go over that number. I'll go under this," said Jones. "I've seen Rex Ryan teams start fast and talk a big game. I've seen Buffalo start fast, have big wins against the Patriots, and then fall off and not make the postseason. It would be so Rex to let down this week against Miami with his team looking ahead to the Patriots."
Games In Cubs-Dodgers NLCS - 6.5
"I'm going under -- I'm going all unders. I think the Cubs will take care of business in six games, at the most," said Jones. "I look at the Dodgers lineup and I'm so unimpressed, I think the Cubs will roll."
Touchdown Passes For Tom Brady This Season - 30
"Let's punch in an over here for Brady. He has 12 games this year, he needs 2.5 a game to get to over 30," said Jones, noting Brady is on pace for 36 touchdowns so far. "How many is he going to throw against that Pittsburgh secondary? Give me four [this weekend], so he'll remain over that pace. Give me the over; it can't all be dark clouds and thunder."
