BOSTON (AP) — A Massachusetts man has pleaded guilty to emailing bomb threats to schools and colleges in three states.

Federal prosecutors say Anthony Rae, of Stoughton, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Boston on Friday to five counts of sending bomb threats.

It started in October 2014 with threats to an elementary school in Chicago and several public schools in Norwood, Massachusetts.

Rae later made two bomb threats to his own school, ITT Technical Institute, in Norwood.

Prosecutors say Rae even made a threat the day after law enforcement officers searched his home and seized several electronic devices in June 2015.

That threat was against Rhode Island College in Providence.

The 25-year-old faces no more than 10 years in prison. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
