FRANKLIN, Tenn. (CBS) – Dog owners beware: Some cans of wet food are being recalled because they may contain pieces of hard plastic.
The FDA says certain cans of Cesar Classics Filet Mignon present a choking hazard after plastic entered the food during the production process.
The recall affects products with a best before dates of August 4, 2018 and August 5, 2018. They would have a UPC code of 23100017792 and lot codes of 631FKKC and 631GKKC printed on the side.
There have not been reports of any injuries or illnesses associated with the recall.
The wet dog food being recalled is coming off store shelves, and anyone who bought it is encouraged to return it for a refund.
