R.I. Police Looking For Driver Of Car That Struck 2 People

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Providence police are looking for the driver of a car that struck two people.

WPRI-TV reports that a 10-year-old boy and an adult family member were crossing Empire Street near Washington Street at about 10 p.m. Saturday when they were hit by a car.

Police said the car fled and was later discovered on Pennsylvania Avenue.

The 10-year-old boy was brought to Hasboro Hospital with minor injuries. He is expected to be OK.

Police said they were still looking for the driver of the car.
