Edelman Holds Women's Clinic, Excited Over Brady's Return

FOXBORO (CBS) - Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman helped teach roughly 400 women the fundamentals of football at a women's clinic held at Gillette Stadium Monday night.

"How to catch a ball. You know, the diamond and the pinkies if it's a low ball. Just kind of the easy fundamentals my Dad taught me when I was young," Edelman said.

Despite being surrounded by ladies, Edelman also had good friend Tom Brady on the brain. The star quarterback officially ended his four game suspension after the Deflategate scandal.

"You know, anytime you have a teammate come back that hasn't been playing with the team it's always exciting and it's always exciting to have Tom around," Edelman said.

The women seemed to agree. "I can't wait! I can't wait 'til Sunday to see how he does," camp participant Fran Boss said.

"I am so excited! He's going to score 100 points on the Browns next weekend," Holly Orme said.

Tom Brady has not been spotted at Gillette Stadium yet.
