Worker Killed In Georgetown Construction Accident
GEORGETOWN (CBS) -- The Essex County District Attorney's Office confirms one man is dead in a workplace accident in Georgetown.
Police and firefighters responded to Mirra Company, a utility construction company, on Norino Way shortly before 4:30p.m. on Thursday. According to officials, the man was fatally injured while backing an excavator out of a garage.
Officials have not released the victim's name. The incident remains under investigation.
