BOSTON (CBS) – Last year, the state of Massachusetts established a controversial program that opened up deer hunting in the Blue Hills for four days. It was the first time hunting had been allowed on the reservation in over one hundred years. The state has decided to expand the program this year, opening up a larger area of land to six days of hunting, and enabling archers to join the hunt. Susan Coffey and Philip Johnston are strongly opposed to the hunt, and they join Dan in the NightSide studio to explain why. Where do you stand?
