Police Share Frightening Crash Video To Warn Of Hydroplaning Dangers
BOURNE (CBS) – After months of extreme drought, Massachusetts drivers may find it hard to remember what it's like to drive in the rain.
But with wet weather in the forecast for this week, police in Bourne are reminding motorists that even a little water on the roads can make for a very dangerous situation.
The Bourne Police Department shared a video on their Facebook page Tuesday of a head-on crash in the rain from July 14. It shows a car traveling eastbound on the Scenic Highway lose control and hydroplane, before striking two vehicles that were going in the opposite direction.

A total of four cars were involved in the crash, but fortunately it only resulted in minor injuries. Still, police want drivers to be extra careful when going out in the rain.
"If the roads are wet, reduce your speeds please," police said.
