BOSTON (CBS) – Rock legend Bruce Springsteen kicked off his book tour that will include a stop in Cambridge next month.
Springsteen’s autobiography “Born To Run” was released on Tuesday, and to promote the book he will be making special appearances around the country over the next several weeks.
In total, the musician will stop at nine book stores to meet with fans and sell autographed copies of the book. The tour began at Barnes & Noble in Freehold, N.J. on Tuesday.
As part of the tour, Springsteen will visit The Harvard Coop in Cambridge on Oct. 10.
Springsteen and the E Street Band recently concluded their North American tour with a 4-hour concert at Gillette Stadium.
During each book tour stop, fans can purchase a pre-signed copy of Born To Run and will have a brief photo opportunity with Springsteen.
