The Internet Reacts To Jacoby Brissett Entering The Game

By Trevor Peele

It's all about the "next man up" according to Bill Belichick and his team is putting his mantra to full use. With Tom Brady serving his four-game suspension, Jimmy Garoppolo has been impressive in leading the New England Patriots but that took a bad turn in Sunday's game.

Late in the first half Garoppolo took a hit and landed on his shoulder and remained down for several minutes. Based on the camera view, Garoppolo was visibly in a lot of pain and would not return to the game.

The "next man up" would bring in rookie Jacoby Brissett and the internet was all over it.

The first priority for the Patriots will be to find a quarterback for Brissett because according to their depth chart, Julian Edelman is the "next man up."
