CHELSEA (CBS) -- Two teens are facing charges after allegedly stabbing a livery driver Sunday night.

According to police, the 57-year-old driver from East Boston was giving the two boys a ride when he was stabbed in his mini-van. The driver and other witnesses described the suspects to responding police officers.

The driver was taken to Mass General hospital with serious injuries.

Police say the 15-year-old and 17-year-old boys who matched the witnesses descriptions were found nearby a short time later.  They are expected to be arraigned on assault charges in Chelsea District Court on Monday.
