Bridgewater Police Thank College Students For 'Trying' To Make Job Easier

BRIDGEWATER (CBS) – Police are thanking students at Bridgewater State University for "trying" to make their job easier.

Students wanted to make it clear that they were not living in the "party house."

A large sign on the front of a home on Burrill Ave. read "That is the party house" and another at the home across the street said "This is not a party house."

"Welcome back Bridgewater State & thank you for trying to make our jobs easier...." Bridgewater Police tweeted.

Earlier this year, officers were attacked by party-goers who threw beer bottles at a home on Burrill Ave.
