WATCH: Isaiah Thomas Dominates Seahawks Receiver In Free Throw Contest

BOSTON (CBS) – There is no point guard in the NBA that is better at getting to the free throw line than Isaiah Thomas.

The 5-foot-9 speedster finished with the eighth most free throw attempts in the entire league last season, a number that could go up in 2016-17 with an improved supporting cast around him (Al Horford and Gerald Green).

A key component of the All-Star's offensive attack is not just his ability to draw trips to the charity stripe, but also be efficient with his attempts.

He's a 86.3 percent career free throw shooter and hit 87 percent of his attempts last year. That part of Thomas' game was on full display on Wednesday as the Celtics guard visited the Seattle Seahawks in his home state of Washington.

Seahawks Twitter posted video of the shooting matchup in the team's video room between Thomas and Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett. The wideout won a shooting contest among his teammates for the right to face off with Thomas in the shooting contest, but Thomas made quick work of the Seahawk.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll credited Thomas for a flawless performance, hitting a record 12 free throws in the session.

Thomas' sharpshooting will return to the hardwood in Boston in just under four weeks as the Celtics kick of the start of training camp in the final week of September.
