Watertown Jogger Reports Being Approached By Suspicious Man

WATERTOWN (CBS) – Police are investigating after a woman reported being approached by a suspicious man while jogging in Watertown.

The incident took place on Aug. 25 when a woman was jogging on Mount Auburn Street around 6:15 p.m.

At two times during her run, once in Watertown Square and once near Hosmer Elementary School, the woman said a man approached her.

"The unknown male got extremely close, moving into the reporting party's personal space, which made her very concerned," Watertown Police said. "While doing so, the unknown male reportedly stated 'Can I ask you something?'"

After the second incident, the woman called police.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic man with a skinny build. He is about 6-feet tall with brown eyes and dark hair described as "fluffy and curly."

Anyone with information is asked to call Watertown Police.
