Tree Falls On Car In South End

BOSTON (CBS) -- A tree came down on a South End street Thursday morning, damaging the front of a car.

The tree fell on Brookline Street.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Carl Stevens reported that a woman had put signs on cars in the area warning people that the tree was falling.

She said she had heard branches breaking, and saw that the tree was getting lower and lower.

What caused the tree to fall was not yet known.
