Entenmann's Little Bites Recalled, May Contain Plastic Pieces

HORSHAM, Pa. (CBS) – Entenmann's snacks sold in Massachusetts and around the country are being recalled because they could contain small pieces of plastic.

Entenmann's Little Bites Fudge Brownies, Chocolate Chip Muffins and variety packs are all affected by the recall. Snack maker Bimbo Bakeries is blaming the problem on a manufacturing failure at an Illinois bakery.

The recalled packages all have code number 3098 printed next to the best by date outside the box.

There have been multiple reports of consumers finding plastic in their snacks, and one injury has been reported. The recalled products are being pulled from shelves.

Anyone who bought the recalled snack can return it to the store for a refund.
