17-Year-Old Bicyclist Hit By Car In Newton

NEWTON (CBS) – A teenage bicyclist was hospitalized Tuesday after he was hit by a car in Newton.

Police said the 17-year-old boy was riding on Walnut and Duncklee Streets when he was hit around 5 p.m.

The boy was taken to Boston Children's Hospital. His condition has not yet been released.

The driver who hit the boy stopped at the scene.
