Security Camera Captures Vandal Slashing 'Hillary For Prison' Sign

BROOKLINE (CBS) -- A Brookline couple is hoping to track down the man who slashed their lawn sign which reads "Hillary for Prison."

Irwin and Marcy Frankel say they returned home after a weekend away to find the sign slashed through the middle.

Home surveillance cameras installed by the couple captured the suspect in the act. Video shows a man pulling up to their property in a white van. The man approaches the sign and tries to cut it vertically without success. He then cuts it horizontally.

"I feel that they invaded my territory. I feel that they have no right to come onto my property," Marcy said.

This is not the first time the Frankels say their sign has been vandalized. In July, the couple claims their surveillance cameras also caught a woman dumping paint on it.

"I wish people would smile at least when they commit the crime," Irwin said.

The Frankels contacted Brookline police after this latest incident.
