Buy Or Sell: Should The Patriots Take A Flyer On Running Back Karlos Williams?

BOSTON (CBS) -- It was a Game of Jones Monday night on the Adam Jones Show. Listen as Jones and Sean Sylver go over the latest involving the Red Sox, Patriots, and Rio Olympics.

Here are the Buy or Sell propositions, followed by Jones' answers.

Buy or Sell: Rio de Janeiro as an Olympic host city

"I'm actually going to do an about-face and actually wind up buying on Rio as a host city," said Jones. "I was terrified something legitimately awful was going to happen. ... I'm not telling you Rio is the greatest host city in the history of the Olympics ... but I think they wound up being a pretty good host in retrospect."

Buy or Sell: Eduardo Rodriguez will make a start before the end of August

"I buy that, too, but I'm not sure he would have done it without a kick in the pants from his manager and being called out by his manager," said Jones.

Buy or Sell: Mark Sanchez will make the Denver Broncos' 53-man roster

"I sell that he's on the team," said Jones. "I don't think [Trevor] Siemian is going to be their Week 1 starter. I think it's going to be their first-rounder out of Memphis, Paxton Lynch. ... He's looked decent in the preseason, their other options are terrible, we know Mark Sanchez is terrible."

Buy or Sell: Carmelo Anthony's three gold medals changes your opinion of him for the better

"No. I sell that," said Jones. "[Team U.S.A.] should roll out of bed, wake up, and beat the crap out of the rest of the world when it comes to basketball with their B or C squad - which, by the way, I think is pretty much what happened."

Buy or Sell: The Patriots taking a flyer on running back Karlos Williams

"I sell it, and I think he's an interesting name," said Jones. "There's just too many warts on the player. ... From a pure talent standpoint, if you could buy low on him and get him into your program and get him on the right path, that's a kid who can play, for sure. I just don't think he's worth the risk."
