Researchers Find Divorce Peaks Following Family Vacations
BOSTON (CBS) - If you find your family vacations are fraught with more friction than fun, your marriage could be taking a toll.
Researchers find that divorce consistently peaks during August and March, times that typically follow family holidays.
Couples may have high hopes that vacations and holidays will help heal their relationships but these times can be stressful and often disappointing and that can put even more strain on a struggling marriage.
And August may be a particularly popular month to file for divorce because parents may want to take care of details before the children return to school.
