Alex Rodriguez In Lineup For Yankees; David Ortiz In For Red Sox

BOSTON (CBS) -- All week long, Red Sox fans have asked for Alex Rodriguez.

They got their wish for one at-bat on Wednesday night, showering the Yankees' slugger with boos, and will get a few more opportunities to show their hate in Thursday night's series finale.

A-Rod is in New York's starting lineup, batting cleanup and DHing in what could be the second-to-last game of his MLB career.

Rodriguez pinch hit in the seventh inning of Wednesday night's 9-4 Yankees win, flying out to right field. For his career, he owns a .284 career batting average and .893 OPS with 59 homers in 264 games against the Red Sox, sporting a .287 career average in 132 games at Fenway Park. For the season, Rodriguez is hitting just .203 with a .606 OPS.

Here's the full lineup the Yankees will throw at Boston started Eduardo Rodriguez on Thursday night:

1. Brett Gardner, LF

5. Starlin Castro, 2B
6. Didi Gregorious, SS

Boston will have David Ortiz back in the lineup one day after he fouled a ball off his shin on Wednesday. But they will be without Mookie Betts after he left Wednesday night's loss with a calf injury.
